Down at the farm

Went to Surrey Docks Farm yesterday (Mon). Its A great place to visit, but you have to be dressed for it. The weather was pretty miserable, wet and muddy-still trying  to get the mud off my trainers. I think I would like to work with animals. Its a great feeling to be able to get so close to them and I must be a bit ticklish, because when they lick my hand and wrist, I want to laugh.

Tuesday 05th August 2014

I've arrived very early in the morning today and climbed up the ladder to help clean the windows  with Stephanie, May and Dulani.

Yesterday was sailing day at Greenland Docks, Surrey Quays.  It was great fun and everyone had afternoon tea together afterwards.

I'm planning to pack my luggage today and will be going to the seaside at Southend tomorrow to stay with my mum. We'll be travelling on a coach. She's going to give me loads of pocket money, and I am very excited to go on the fishing trip.

 

Inside outside...outside again

A busy day: pulling out grass and lots of weeding; trimming, cutting back with the secateurs and used the shears to chop back branches off the shrubs. We had three big bags of cuttings. Plenty of  sweeping up as well. Ok its hard work and I feel a bit tired,often do, but I love it!We had a really lovely cup of tea and biscuits to finish off the morning.

Did a lot today-It was really tiring.Activities included
(tree) branch and shrub lopping-mostly using secateurs. There were a lot of leaves to bag up. My fingers were numb-but seriously I'm NOT complaining-enjoyed it!
Saw two Robins-really attractive birds. I love their red bellies! They we're quite interested  in what we we're doing-think they we're looking for lunch!

I worked with Stephanie, Dulani and Lesley.

I tidied up the leaves and put them in the bin. I also did some weeding and some sweeping. We also used the Strimmer  to cut  the  grass.
We   went   on  a   bus  to  get  there  and  back.
I had to use my  Freedom Pass on  the bus.

BUSY DAY

I WAS WORKING WITH THE GARDENING GROUP AT THE BACK OF A HOUSE (LOCALLY). WE DID A LOT OF WEEDING, CUTTING BACK SHRUBS, BUSHES AND TREE BRANCHES. THERE WERE A LOT OF LEAVES TO BAG UP. IT WAS  REALLY  HARD WORK-I NEED A REST!

window cleaning

I did inside/ outside. Me, Leslie and dulani with  Stefanie done some window cleaning. I clean 4 window which was too much for me. we all did a lots of window today.
